The velvet resembles glass stained windows with an incredible luminosity, which cross references nicely with the church-like ornaments of the wooden frame. We simply dubbed it the “Clerical Chair”. But nothing too pious about this cheeky piece with its bright peacock coloured double piping and orange fringe.

The Oak frame has been fully restored. The sprung seating has been reupholstered with traditional techniques and materials, covered in Fresco Velvet from Blackpop UK.

They sit nice and upright with a comfortable armrest, covered in a joyful green fabric from Ludvig Svensson. The metal frame has been restored and the wooden armrests are freshly stained and sealed.
