The lush Velvet from luxurious UK brand Blackpop lend itself perfectly for the make over of this quirky, old fashioned chair. The velvet resembles glass stained windows with an incredible luminosity, which cross references nicely with the church-like ornaments of the wooden frame. We simply dubbed it the “Clerical Chair”. But nothing too pious about this cheeky piece with its bright peacock coloured double piping and orange fringe.

The Oak frame has been fully restored. The sprung seating has been reupholstered with traditional techniques and materials, covered in Fresco Velvet from Blackpop UK.
